I saw Barndon's video testing these out and knew I wanted to add some to my kit in the event I need a fire fast when ordinary methods would take too long. Especially because I often camp with my young son and if anything were to happen that I need to get him warm ASAP, this seemed just the ticket. So let me paint you a picture to explain the title. These arrived yesterday and I have not had an opportunity test them myself. However, I know they work! How do I know you may ask? Well, we have a Blue Heeler (Rocky Two Spots) that is just over a year old. Sometimes, delivery drivers come all the way to the house to drop off packages rather than leave them at the gate. Yesterday was one of these times they came all the way to the house. Rocky Two Spots is very protective and wants to ensure these dangerous packages are not able to attack us because he loves us so much. This package was obviously quite a perceived threat in his eyes so he attacked it, chewed the box open and disseminated the contents throughout the yard. Not yet satisfied with the demise of this threatening foe, he proceeded to further attack. In his endeavor, he managed to pull the rope on one of these fire starters and YEEHAWW! I arrived home to find a decent size burned spot in the yard, about 10 feet away from the house. So there, so easy, a dog can do it! Also, warning, if you have a package chewing dog, please do your best to be home when these arrive...

Its a must for a survivalist person like me who likes camping and mountain climbing!

Great to have for outdoors, less effort required to start a fire!
